Reviews from LibraryThing This book was a wonderful story for kids! It's a great way to illustrate to children how new pets may feel when you bring them home for the first time. The pictures were great and the story was entertaining for the reader. A cute children's book about a rescue puppy, who is unsure about her new surroundings. Good lessons for children about being understanding and accepting of people and animals how they are. My six year old enjoyed the story and illustrations. Cute story about an adopted pet afraid of making mistakes and being abandoned again. Good lesson for young children that it is okay to make mistakes. Includes colorful illustrations.
