When she left teaching to be home with her husband and two children she became interested in metaphysics. She opened a New Age bookstore in Coquitlam, BC in 1988. Over the next thirty years she met and promoted many spiritual teachers. When her daughter-in-law took over the store in 2018 Carole began to transcribe many of the recordings from the spiritual workshops of one particular speaker, known as The Storyteller.
