Thankfully, DJ didn't give up and met some nice friends who encouraged him. He was still afraid but remembered a wise saying his father shared with him. With his new friends by his side and his father's words in his heart, DJ faced his biggest fear and achieved his dream! DJ Faces His Fear is based on the true story of the author's trip to Moab, Utah, where his friends helped him overcome his anxiety and fears.
