When my husband and I brought AJ home a few years back we had no idea that he or the African Grey parrot was so intelligent, talkative, personable and adaptable. He has so many human characteristics that I had to capture some of his antics in writing. I decided to write a series of books about AJ the African Grey. This is the first book in the series. Book#2 AJ the African Grey, First Flight will be released in first quarter 2010. Mamie Foote Ketter, Christian, Wife, Mother of 4, Grandmother of 10. She is part of the music ministry at Nellis Baptist Church, Las Vegas, NV. Born and raised in Greenville Mississippi, moved to San Diego, CA at an early age and now resides in Las Vegas, NV with her husband Al and her parrot AJ. Her parents are the late Carrie and Harvey Foote Jr.  Mamie is also the author of AJ, The African Grey, Volume 1. AJ The African Grey First Flight, Volume 2, AJ The African Grey Visits The Zoo, Volume 3 and Volume 4 (Coloring Book).
