Lively, thought-provoking and imbued with astonishing maturity, Spoet is a beautiful amalgamation of more than forty poems—including the award-winning A World of Words—written when Patel was between the ages of nine and eleven. Composed with candid humor and grace, Spoet offers readers a chance to peer through Patel’s kaleidoscopic vision and marvel at the world of words before them. Sarina Patel wrote her first poem at the age of five and her love of writing hasn't stopped since then. She is the Junior Assistant Editor and Comic Hub Co-Editor of the award-winning, Amazing Kids! Magazine. Sarina is the recipient of the Florida Youth Writers Association's 2015 and 2014 Royal Palm Literary Award and the prestigious 2014 Candice Coghill Award. She is twelve years old and lives in Tampa, Florida. Spoet is her first book.
