The puzzles graduate up one letter at a time, in order. The number of puzzles that range the full alphabet are 10, which is over 30% of the book. A plus as far as I am concerned, since that is what I want my grandson to practice. I wish this book was bigger. I definitely would be willing to pay more for more puzzles. --Amazon Good way to start children to search for letters as they may need to repeat the alphabet to finish drawing. Encourages connecting of dots more accurately as to drawing all over, so again learning hand/eye coordination to draw the line segment. Always a surprise at the end of the final drawing to what the picture really is and now can be colored to their liking.
