My nephew enjoyed working through it. He says that the pictures look real and easy to recognize. There was a variety of things to do in this book covering from math to reading readiness skills needed for the next grade level. We both enjoyed this book. --School Zone Website In order to both read and write well, kids need to know how to spot differences. So this book really fits the bill, even though the assorted tasks are widely varied. Spot-the-Difference games, mazes, "who doesn't belong in this picture", and letter sounds all mix with very simple math portrayals. All color pages, with mazes that are realistic and nothing too complicated nor too easy. I like that the designers actually cared about making the pages interesting rather than slapping out typical designs for small kids. Age range, I think it runs a bit younger than Kindergarten Basics, maybe late Pre-K is more appropriate.
