Uriah Porter, acolyte Reclaimer, and new Skyhold recruit, has just been hired on by Drexler Dynamics, one of the galaxy’s big four, Guardian Conglomerates. During his first assignment, he unearths a mysterious object that finds itself attached to him. The mysterious object of unknown origin soon becomes the focal point of C.E.O. Max Drexler and company, as time and resources are set aside, dedicated to discovering what the strange device might contain, and its true power, and worth. If it is an artifact, the device could usher in a fresh conglomerate conflict, and spell doom for the young, Drexler employee. Of course, it’s parasitic relationship could mean that Uriah Porter is destined to be stuck with the strange device for a long time, especially if the device proves not to be more worthless than a relic. But as the mysterious object proves to be anything but worthless, Uriah Porter must decide the value in becoming a pawn for the greater glory of Reclimationhood. The young Reclaimer hopeful must choose a path. Vernon Lee Smith (or Ishmel E.T. Vonner) is an American author, battling schitzophrenia. He lives in Amarillo, Texas with his noisy family and friends. He enjoys video games, making music, and watching sports in his spare time. He is freaked out by large crowds, and the prospect of operating a motor vehicle.
