Fairies (goblins, pixies, trolls), family secrets, new friends, unexpected friends, magic, pranks, and a villain trying to take over the world! I have to admit, I related to Yara more than Isaac because I found him to be irresponsible and narcissistic at first. But that's what made the book so fun ... he really had NO IDEA what he was doing by letting the fairies fulfill his every wish (clean my room, get a milkshake, erase memories). I personally would NOT have used the fairies for things like getting a milkshake but I probably read and watched enough to know EVERYTHING comes at a price and magic use is not so simple. The rice counting made me laugh out loud because I could picture the neurotic fairy trying to count every grain of rice and Yara just throwing it around 🤣! I'm excited to see what happens in book 2!!
