He is currently working on the 15th story arc in the Pokémon series, Pokémon: Sword & Shield . Yamamoto’s favorite manga creators/artists include Fujiko Fujio ( Doraemon ), Yukinobu Hoshino ( 2001 Nights ) and Katsuhiro Otomo ( Akira ).
