They explore themes of love, the challenge of maintaining a relationship, and the ecstasy of finding a lasting and rewarding partner.Poems help us break away from the weakness of solitude, to make the stories behind the emotions feel personal and very real.This collection is a dialog between you and me, expressed in words that often don’t come easily to any of us, but words that are emotive and compelling in their telling. Philip Fretz has been writing for years, but this is his first published book of poems. He is retired from a career in computer services, and now teaches as a volunteer at the local Osher Institute for Life Long Learning in Lewes, Delaware. He is an active member of the Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, Writers Guild and the Eastern Shore Writers Association. He lives in southern Delaware and takes inspiration from the proximity of the ocean and the intellectual stimulation from colleagues and members of the Life Long Learning program.
