A finch sings on a summer's night… We live in a world of poetry and music. Nature is full of countless beauties, from the white-winged dove to the crawling snail. What of those lovely ladies from myth and legend? Both have been in the hearts and minds of poets for hundreds of years and it's easy to see why; inspiration comes from many sources, you need only look around. A short collection from Glaswegian author, Orla Drummond. Author Bio Orla Jane Drummond is a Scottish author currently residing in Glasgow. Growing up in the Southside of Glasgow, she was part of ‘Mamie’s Weans’ drama group and later the Glasgow Acting Academy. Orla has studied art at Glasgow Clyde College and the University of the West of Scotland. When she's not doodling or writing, she can be found enjoying a cup of tea or taking a walk by the riverside. Beasties, Birds and Belles is the first gathered collection of her poetry.
