Underground Gas Storage In the World

The 2010 edition of Underground Gas Storage in the World provides an update to the previous survey released by Cedigaz in 2006. In this survey, Cedigaz analyses the following trends, which characterize the rapid development of underground gas storage in the world. It also provides an analysis of the recent evolutions in the technical and economic aspects of the underground gas storage business, as well as an overview of the UGS markets and their developments in the world, country by country. The current state of development of the underground gas storage market in the world, country by country, with a list of UGS projects in the world, is presented in this part of the survey. A specific section is dedicated to the analysis of future UGS needs in Europe by 2020. Cedigaz is an association dedicated to natural gas information, created in 1961 by gas companies and the Institut Français du Pétrole (IFPEN). It is based near Paris.
