This line splitter is an auxiliary tol for clamp ammeter (herelimafter referred to as clamp meter） The inside structure of line splitter will separate the wires into single through measurement window, and take the 10 times currentto measurement window You can measure the single conductor inside the sheathed Power cable accurately and conveniently without destroy the Clamp meter with sheathed Power cable. Olny the clmap one of wires can obtain accurate current value when use Clamp meter to measure current. Rated for 230V and 10A Wire Separator
This line splitter is an auxiliary tol for clamp ammeter (herelimafter referred to as clamp meter). Generlly the Power cable of electrical equipment is insulating sheath. Where are many root cricuit conductor(such as phase wire, zero wire and ground wire). Only the clmap one of wires can obtain accurate current value when use Clamp meter to measure current. If clamp the sheathed Power cable directiy, it can not obtain the real loop current .That is due to the inside conductor will cancel each other out or stack cuased by different direction of current. The inside structure of line splitter will separate the wires into single through measurement window, and take the 10 times currentto measurement window. In that way, you can measure the single conductor inside the sheathed Power cable accurately and conveniently without destroy the Clamp meter with sheathed Power cable.

Operete steps:

1. Insert the plug of thedevice under test into the jack of the line splitter, plug the AC line splitter into the receptacle.
2. Power on the device under test, close the Clamp-on jaws around either the X1 arm of the AC line splitter to obtain the actual current.
3. If the current is too smail to read,use the X10 positin,divide the meter reading by 10 to obtain the actual current.
4 .When measuring voltage,insert the multimeter test leads into the two Voltage Test jacks.
