There are 250 storytelling cards across four decks: 30 Spark cards give context for a sentence you write (e.g., “your sentence comes from the middle of your young adult novel,”); 140 Riff and 30 Connect cards get you playing with figurative language (“The shadows looked like wolves”), and 50 Ask cards exercise your storytelling imagination (“What is the main character’s first memory?”). A fold-out guide with ideas for writing games and creative writing activities is included.
