With cable diameter of only 3.6mm, the slim Cat6 cable is much thinner and lighter than the standard Cat6 cable, which makes it easier to install and take less space than the standard 24 AWG Cat6 cable. The slim Cat6 cable also has a smaller bend, which allows it to be easily routed through cable management panels. The slim Cat 6 cable contains four twisted copper wire pairs and is made of 28AWG conductors with a PVC jacket and snagless molded boot.
