Darkest of all our roasts, the espresso coffee beans are roasted for a total of 22 minutes to bring out a toasty and robust flavor. The naturally sweet coffee has hints of brown sugar and black licorice.

We offer the first coffee ever to be grown like wine. Inspired by the family vineyard in California, we developed and patented a process that involves growing coffee on wires the same way winemakers grow grapes. Opening the coffee trees up to sunlight and aeration increases development of the coffee cherries, their ripening, and the natural production of sugar.

Many coffee farmers use observation of the change of color from green to red to determine when to pick coffee cherries. We take a scientific approach, testing the coffee cherries for pH level, sugar concentration and titratable acid before handpicking them at their optimum maturity. For every package, we start with our trellis grown Kona coffee beans and blend them with complementary arabica coffee beans to create the perfect gourmet coffee with a distinctive naturally sweet flavor.
