Simply connect a shielded Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable between the two modules, and they’ll use the analog conductors in the cable to deliver four balanced audio lines to whatever destination you choose. The MINI TRS employs straight-wire passive operation — it’s analog all the way, with no digital conversion necessary. At GearNuts, we’ve also used the MINI TRS to transmit audio via a building’s pre-existing Ethernet network.
