Size: The fitting is an AN6 to 3/8" NPT adapter, and the thread size of the 6AN is 9/16-18 UNF. Material: The fitting is made of aluminum alloy 6061-T6 with an anodized black surface. Sealing: The AN side of the flare is sealed at a 37-degree angle, and the NPT thread side is sealed with 60-degree tapered threads. Application: The fitting is widely used in fuel systems, cooling systems, and power steering systems. Notice: To ensure no leakage at the NPT end, sealant or PTFE tape is strongly recommended. The fitting allows easy installation and removal with a wrench.
