Magnetic attraction causes these plates to flex and touch each other causing an electrical contact.Magnetic sensor switches are protected against dust, oxidization and corrosion thanks to their sealed construction. As a non-contact sensor, the SMC012 is long lasting and durable and is ideally suited for numerous applications including process automation and control, jigging, robotics and operating environments that contain lots of contaminants.
