MUTEX Commercial Grade Privacy Indicator Locks are designed to preserve your privacy and eliminate the guesswork about if the bathroom is occupied or vacant. Dual windows on the outside door knob displays Red to indicate the room is occupied, and Blue to indicate the room is vacant.

Doorknob is locked using a thumb turn on the inside, and a coin slot for emergency unlocking on the outside. This door knob fits on both left and right handed doors, and can be installed in minutes with included hardware.

A perfect drop in replacement for all standard door types whether in your home, office, warehouse, rental property or other commercial properties.

INSTALLATION

MUTEX Classic Privacy Indicator Doorknob will fit most standard doors between 1 3/8 inches and 2 inches thick. For doors thinner than 1 inch, some light modification of the spindle is necessary. The latch can be back set and accommodates from 2 ¾” to 2 ¾” if needed.
