The Hayes Digital Heating Tool is a 110V plastic pipe welder for socket fusion. It is suitable for joining a variety of thermoplastic pipes and fittings (from 1/2" CTS to 2" IPS) for different applications in the industry. This machine can weld pipe made of Polyethylene (PE, HDPE, MDPE), Polypropylene (PPR), Polybutene (PB). The iron has a heat resistant aluminum plate with a digital screen control to adjust the temperature for the most accurate heating temperature. The internal controller can adjust to the enviroment temperature and it also has an ergonomic handle for ease of use. The heating adapters (male and female) have been coated with 3 layers of non-stick teflon to reduce polymer adhesion. The chamfering tool works also as a depth gage. It is made of aluminum and it has a stainless steel blade. The cold ring or vice-grip pliers have a solid constructed locking configuration with a 1022 carbon steel ring. This complete tool kit is designed and manufactured according to the American international standard ASTM F2620.
