Shaft Adapters connect handpieces and shafts that do not have matching connections. Duplex Spring Adapters add duplex springs between a handpiece and a shaft. No Handpieces or Shafts are included with adapters. These adapters are more likely to be useful to experienced flex shaft users than beginners. Adapters do not come with warranties, especially since duplex springs are subject to breakage. These adapters are more likely to be useful to experienced flex shaft users than beginners. Slip joint connections are more commonly used in Europe than they are in the US. The Adapters HP775 and HP776 can be added to handpieces that do not have duplex springs HP775 Duplex Adapter adds a Duplex Spring between key tip shaft and key tip handpiece. Duplex Springs allow greater flexing at the handpiece end of the shaft for more subtle, finer movement of the handpiece. Not for use with H.50 handpieces or with Foredom Filer, Angle Grinder or Belt Sander Attachments.
