strenuous physical activity. The vest features dual side elastic straps and
over-the-shoulder adjustability for a secure fit on a wide range of body
sizes. Each vest includes a set of eight cooling packs that maintain a cool
-- but not cold -- temperature of 59° F for up to 2.5 hours in 100° F heat.
The packs are powered by PureTemp, a nontoxic, biobased phase change
material known for its consistent, repeatable performance over thousands of
melting-solidification cycles. The bundle includes TWO sets of adult
cooling packs. Keep the spare set in a cooler, freezer or fridge to ensure
non-stop comfort. Two mesh bags, included, make it easy to recharge,
transport and store both sets. The cooling packs feature horizontal cells
that conform to your torso as you bend and stretch. The redesigned packs
come in two sizes: 10.3 ounces and 7 ounces. For maximum cooling, insert a
large and a small cooling pack into each inside pocket of your vest. The
nontoxic cooling packs maintain a comfortable 59°F/15°C temperature for up
to 2½ hours and can be recharged in 30 minutes in ice water. For less
demanding conditions, such as office use, you may lighten the vest by using
a single large pack in each pocket. SIZING: The Sports Vest comes in one
size designed to fit most adults. It weighs just under 5 pounds, including
cooling packs, and will fit chest sizes between 29 inches and 52 inches.
Extender strap sets, sold separately, are available for larger adults.
