Perfectly clear laminate resin – excellent fiberglass wetting for laminating and glossing. ~400 cPs viscosity resin. This polyester resin is not for casting or pouring. It is formulated to provide a perfectly clear gloss finish when brushed on as a coat or laminate. Not all polyester resins are the same — viscosity, density, and temperature characteristics are formulated for a wide range of uses. Dual cure means it can be cured two ways: by sunlight or UV light, or by using MEKP hardener. A fantastic, UV-protected, laminating-viscosity resin that can be cured in 3 minutes in sunlight or by MEKP catalyst, or both simultaneously. A 400 cPs viscosity resin that has excellent fiberglass wetting ability and is thixo’ed to avoid draining on vertical surfaces like surfboard rails. Cures to a slightly tacky finish to improve ensuing laminates’ adhesion. Contains UV absorbers to combat aging. This is not a casting resin—it is a laminate. Please do not use it for a purpose it was not made for.
