When I Wonder about God: I Have Questions, the Bible Has Answers

Tom Lee’s experience with his church, other Christian organizations, and Bible studies has frequently resulted in questions that do not have readily apparent answers. Most of these questions have not caused serious issues with his faith, but did make him wonder what God meant or how God wanted him to respond to different situations. This is probably no different than many individuals have felt about their own relationship with God. God does not want anything like this to interfere with our relationship to Him. The interpretations provided in this book were developed with God’s help and are presented in a clear and personal fashion. Subjects covered include questions about original sin, the Trinity, the Kingdom of God, homosexuality, repentance, good works, baptism, eternity, Satan, salvation, witnessing, and several questions concerning specific statements in the Bible such as being born again, becoming like a child, and being holy. It is certain that everyone won’t be in full agreement with the answers provided. They do work for the author and have been researched to the best of his ability. God has led him to these positions through the Holy Spirit to improve his understanding of God, to strengthen his faith, and bring him closer to our incredible God. They certainly don’t make him perfect as he is still a sinner, but they do show that he can be forgiven through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. God may lead other folks to different interpretations of these questions and how they impact their lives. However, these differences should not cause conflicts. No one is perfect or has complete knowledge of God’s plan for His creation. Everyone can look for and find their own understanding with the help of the Holy Spirit. When your faith is fortified and you feel closer to God, you’ll know you’ve got it. The information in this book may help you think about what’s right for you. As you read this, remember there are two great commandments. Love God and love your neighbor as yourself. Keeping this forefront in your mind is the best way to live your life in a God pleasing way.
