Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) Grow Guide Planting & Placement Comes as 3 separate plants in 2.25-inch pots; transplant into larger pots or garden. Prefers full sun (6+ hours daily). Thrives in warm temperatures (70-95°F / 21-35°C); protect from frost. Soil & Watering Use rich, well-draining soil with compost or organic matter. Water regularly, keeping soil moist but not soggy. Drought-tolerant once established but prefers consistent moisture. Fertilizing & Maintenance Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks in the growing season. Trim leaves as needed; cut stalks at the base for harvest. Prune dead leaves and divide clumps every 1-2 years. Growth & Propagation Grows 3-5 feet tall in ideal conditions.
