These 7 inch discs are stiff to the touch but provide some give during use hence their "semi-flexible" name. Each semi flex disc is coated with premium Silicon Carbide abrasive grains, which are extremely sharp, boasting an impressive hardness, leading to faster cuts and finer scratch patterns. Semi-flexible silicon carbide discs are engineered for fast grinding and removal of thick adhesive-type coatings, glue, epoxy, urethane, rubberized coatings, mastic, sealers from concrete as well as a variety of surfaces including metal, enamel, fiberglass, porcelain, and masonry mediums. The spiral design combined with the silicon carbide grains of the disc allows for a cooler, load resistant grind especially compared to diamond cup wheels which can get very hot and gum up.
