This insert is not designed for rod-based softboxes. This durable all-metal light mount adapter quickly slides into the rear tabs of a Switch modifier and secures in place with a thumb-lock. Switch Inserts are available in a wide variety of mounts for compatibility with most lighting systems. Please note compatible softboxes are due to weight limits on the FJ200. For mounting larger modifiers to the FJ200, we recommend using the Quick Mount S-Bracket (#2543) with a Bowens Insert (#2530).
