After completing a word study of discrimination in the 50 chapters of Genesis, I was reading John 10 and noticed that Jesus used the word ‘door’ to describe Himself, “’I am the Door; anyone who enters through Me will be saved and will live forever, and will go in and out freely, and find pasture, spiritual security.’” John 10:9 The Amplified Bible I wondered how many times the word 'door' appears in Scripture. This short book is the result. In it you will find door components, closed and open doors. How doors protect you or leave you vulnerable. You will explore doors to hide behind and doors to slam shut. You will discover the potential dangers of doors, including how you can close your fingers in them or bang your head against them. The first door in Scripture represents the potential for us to sin. The Lord tells us we " must master sin " - we must not walk through the door to sin. The last door reminds us, there is an end to the doors, the world, to people and to second chances to walk through the ‘door we know’.
