I was given an advance copy of this book to read and the first thing that caught my eye was the cover. I didn't know anything about Borneo and just from reading the back cover it also caught my interest. It really is a wonderful story of adventure and suspense with a little romance added to the mix. Both the main characters are portrayed so realistically that you begin to identify with them as they are caught in horrendous situations where failing means death. As the back cover says, it really IS an action-packed adventure. One of the best secrets in this book is that the author creates such wonderful pictures with his words that you can actually envision what's happening in your mind. A page turner, Revelations unfold. The vocabulary is extremely vivid. It literally spills out of the book as you read and puts you in the middle of the setting so different from our own. I absolutely loved how much mystery there was in this book. At about half way through I couldn' put the book down. I had a lot of fun trying to guess what was going to happen net and I was dying to find out the truth. Not only is there mystery and intrigue but there's also romance .
