ER4043: Commonly referred to as “AlSi5", has a 5% silicon and is the oldest and one of the most widely used aluminum welding wires for general purpose applications. Shielding Gas Required: Usually 100% Argon, Helium or mix. Excellent Welding Performance: The silicon additions result in improved fluidity to make the alloy a preferred choice by welders. Less sensitive to weld cracking and produces brighter. Multiple Usage: Welding Wire ER4043 can use where base metal require thermal treatment. It also can be used on weld forge and casting materials.
