Puerh (Pu-erh) tea is an aged tea. Unlike other teas and more like a fine wine, it will mellow and improve with age. Puerh tea is post-fermented, which means that the tea leaves go through a fermentation process after they have been dried and rolled. Our premium, 3 year raw Tuocha Sheng Puerh is made from compressing Yunnan maocha green tea leaves. Considered a delicacy, this special tea can be stored & allowed to age. The longer you store Puerh the better the quality. Tea Master Notes: Brews to a clear golden color with a satisfying, light aromatic, sweet and smooth taste. Steep the cake in 1 cup of water using a strainer and then steep it again in another cup. This will give you 2 cups of tea per tea cake.
