This collection of short stories ranges from sad to humorous. They provide a look into a few of my personal lived experiences, each with my own raw emotions I felt at the time. Every human being on this planet has experienced unbelievable situations that leave an impression on their heart and mind. Indeed, life tends to be a fascinating series of back to back vignettes. It’s only natural that someone who loves to write should seek to put those vignettes on paper with as much detail as possible. In these pages you will encounter vivid characters, such as a corrupt police officer who threatened to plant “contraband” and arrest me while I was attempting to file a police report , my elderly hospital roommate Lenore, who thought that I was her personal caretaker when I was actually recovering from a very complicated surgery, Melinda, who had once been rich and famous and finally found true love while battling brain cancer, and the Frenchman who randomly walked up to me and my roommate and spun a hilarious and fascinating tale out of thin air that I’m still laughing at to this day.
