When in Simple Mode, this device may not be compatible with all routers. Set up may require login to your router to do basic configuration. Downloading the Firewalla App is required in order to set up your Purple SE. The app will guide your through the steps to set up your device. Using Purple SE in Router Mode (recommended) will require a modem and additional WiFi access points. If you want to continue to use your existing router as the main router, you can set up the Purple SE in Transparent Bridge Mode.
