Driven by curiosity, and in an attempt to learn more about the man who died in the cave, Della talks to a convict, the woman the dead man loved, and a heartbroken sister still grieving over his disappearance. Sheriff Metcalf pleads with Della to leave the sleuthing to him, but she’s driven to find out the truth about the man’s strange death and disappearance. Seems that the sheriff has a more personal interest in Della, and that’s why he doesn’t want her involved in the investigation. She might be the next victim!
