Free Indeed: A 31 day Freedom in Christ devotional

Freedom really is available to whoever wants it. Scripture says that in Christ, we are already free. Not 50% free or 75% or even 99% free. But 100%, totally free in Christ. The struggle is that we don’t seem to experience that freedom in our daily lives. The truth in Scripture is no less true today than when it was first written. We are FREE in Christ! And that will never change. We can know the truth intellectually and yet still not believe it is fully true. Why? Because what we’re experiencing in front of us tells us something different. The Good News of the Gospel is that not only has Christ set us free from sin and we are fully forgiven in Him, but that we now have His life in us and we can choose to operate out of this freedom every day, moment by moment. We aren’t missing anything. We aren’t lacking from God. Have you lost your way? Are you not experiencing this freedom that Christ says you have? What would your life look like if you could walk by faith in these life giving truths? I want to invite you on this freedom journey with me. On this journey you will discover life giving truths about the freedom you already have. You will discover your true identity in Christ and realize there are some things in your life you may need to let go of. This is the journey I have taken and am still taking. My prayer is that you too will grow in freedom. Some of these truths may go against what you believe or what you feel, but I ask that you give it a chance. Take your time and really allow God’s Word to sink deeply into your soul. Ask questions as you go. Ask God to show you areas where you need this freedom. It really is worth it.
