Defining the Kenya we want requires understanding the genesis,current position and trajectory of Kenya socio-economic and political matters and using this to create a big picture image of what needs to be done to create a prosperous Kenya.The political sphere as presented in this book looks at the democratic process in the african country of Kenya whilst the socio-economic sphere looks at various important sectors i.e housing,healthcare,food scurity,manufacturing,education,and security.This are discussed comprehensively considering past, present and projected trends.Additionally these trends are evaluated with respect to vision 2030 which is the latest long-term policy document Kenya has developed with a view of understanding how its objectives can be achieved.Emphasis is placed on clearing misconceptions,dismantling limiting beliefs and filling knowledge gaps in this regard so as not to hamper vision.
