Many people, regrettably most of the hundreds of concealed carriers the author has met, take the class required to obtain their concealed carry permit...end of story. Many will purchase a handgun, which may or may not be a good “fit” to their hand or mode of carrying concealed…end of story. They likely will buy a box of ammo, make one trip to the range, place the weapon in a holster which might not be one which “works”, and they call it good. The purpose of this book is to fill in the blanks that are so important to surviving a deadly force encounter—that is if you can’t avoid it in the first place, which is, by far, the preferred course of action. This book will address several issues all of which are important and for the dedicated self-defender needs to be the focus of frequent practice .
