Atomic Cocktails brings you my collection of original cocktail recipes, variations on cocktails I've enjoyed, and some classic favorites of mine. After spending years developing these recipes, I wanted to collect them all in one place. Why “Atomic” Cocktails? Because as a nuclear scientist, many of the cocktail recipe names derive from my industry and from nuclear history. I enjoy my own form of mixology and love the alchemy of taking simple ingredients – liquor, liqueur, syrup, juice, bitters – to create cocktails that are visually pleasing and equally delicious. With a passion for hosting friends and social gatherings, I set out to create new recipes and refine old classics so that I could craft something special as a conduit for social connection and friendship. Special thanks to Liber & Co. for their specialty cocktail syrups. Many of the cocktail recipes in this book make use of their delicious syrups, which you can find on their own website for purchase to re-create these cocktails. Enjoy!
