BACKFLOW PREVENTION: The Watts Lead-Free Copper Silicon Alloy Double Check Valve Backflow Preventer Assembly is ideal for non-health hazard applications in continuous-pressure piping systems, at cross-connections and for impurities at service line entrances. It is designed to prevent the backflow of polluted water from entering into the potable water supply due to back-siphonage and/or backpressure. COMPREHENSIVE FEATURES: This assembly is constructed with a highly durable lead-free copper silicon body, ensuring long-lasting performance and compliance with industry standards. It is equipped with NPT connections, quarter turn ball valve shutoffs, top-mounted test cocks, two in-line independent positive seating check modules, and captured springs. FREEZE SENSOR: Includes a freeze sensor compatible with SentryPlus Alert technology, signaling facility personnel when temperatures near and reach freezing point. An optional freeze sensor connection kit is available to activate a monitoring system for low and freezing temperatures. INLINE SERVICEABLE: Designed for easy maintenance, the assembly features a compact modular design, with top-entry access and a single access cover that facilitates in-line repairs.
