Economical to produce and ship The four precision-milled slots securely engage the lugs of the chlorinator lid, applying unform pressure all around the lid to prevent deformation and cracking. The wrench’s socket is optimized to be loose enough for easy mounting on the lid and tight enough to prevent slipping off the lid as you apply force. The long handle gives the user plenty of leverage to easily crank off those crusty old lids. This wrench is intuitive to use and securely holds the chlorinators lid allowing one-handed operation. The entire tool is 1/2-inch thick with no ribs or hollow spaces. The top face is the same as the bottom face. Construction This wrench is milled from a solid piece of white marine-grade high density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic. The material is extremely durable and naturally resists water, mold, and insects. It won’t splinter, rot, delaminate, or swell. The finished product is 1/2-inch thick, 10 inches long, and 5 1/4-inches wide. All the outer edges of the tool are rounded over for user comfort.
