Surviving a Narcissist: A Reality Check on Self

I never thought that I would have been able to dismiss my thoughts and mentions of individuals, especially those whom I was born to. I really loved them at one point in this thing called life. I really needed their guidance, but they guided me in the direction of death. Their guidance was a setup meant to destroy the beautiful soul that I once possessed. I am trying to find her, yet I think I am losing this battle daily. Once triggered, life for me gets tricky. I get mean. I get vindictive. I am a fiery Aries, and I am always me. I take petty to a different level. I am sometimes afraid of the energy I possess so freely and independently. I want to let loose and be free. I want to cherish the life I hold now, instead of visions of an incomplete little girl that consume me. Happily married takes the cake, yet the inside is so unfinished Queen, sometimes I don’t know how much more I could take.
