A PLACE TO STAND: A Biblical Perspective on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity

This theology of the body will be presented in three parts: creation, incarnation, and resurrection. As we gain a biblical understanding of the human body from these three perspectives, we will gain wisdom in the proper use of the body. We will become better equipped to do as Scripture states: glorify God with your body ( 1 Corinthians 6:20 ) This approach to the body will show an incredible continuity of truth throughout the Scripture. God designed the human body and all of its functions, including sexual expression, for very well-defined purposes. Those purposes, and the truth which controls those purposes, have not changed. It is my prayer that the words of this book will remind all of us that we have a place to stand.
