Shanel Shaw had no idea when she went to work in Medical Media at NCU that she would find her ancient lover there. In trying to understand Ash, she decides to go through a past life regression where she remembers a life as High Priestess to an Egyptian mother god. It was in that life that she knew Ash as Ramon. They were very much in love but it ended tragically when, unknown to her, they were thwarted by an ancient enemy. She comes out of the regression feeling the despair she felt then but desperate to talk with Ash. She has no idea the ancient enemy is also close, to him and to her. When this enemy attacks, Shanel has to draw on skills and abilities from lives she's lived since Egypt and talents Arthur and Elva have helped her hone.
