A 30 year military aviation career forged a unique relationship with the author and the Heavenly Father. He describes how the 5-paragraph operations order, used in the military, forms the basis for that relationship. By knowing the basic foundations and doctrine, soldiers are able to easily see where the commander wants them to go and what he wants them to do even when changes arise on the battlefield. Christians can use that same approach in their walk with God. Originally written for his wife and five boys, The Commander's Intent uses simple language to explain how it is possible to know God's will for your life. In a rapidly changing and complex world, simplifying God's purpose for each and every one of us removes the confusion and relieves us from the distractions of the world.
