The author, Dr. Joseph Geliebter, is a son of Holocaust survivors who exhibited resilience as they rebuilt lives for themselves and their community after tremendous loss and suffering. About the Author A Jewish scholar and clinical psychologist, Dr. Geliebter has worked with families, couples, and children, including families of Holocaust survivors. Dr. Geliebter developed an approach in therapy focusing on resilience as an important life tool. Dr. Joseph Geliebter drew inspiration from his parents, both of whom were Holocaust survivors and dedicated their lives to rebuilding Jewish life.
