For many of us, it starts by doing. Built on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) principles, this book is meant to be a fun build that is all encompassing to capture young imaginations and minds. For those who are young at heart, love to build and be creative, and may potentially become an aspiring designer, engineer, or architect, this book is for you! Build 5 fun robots using basic toy bricks and along the way get introduced to various technologies that we can imagine these robots embody. The experience of building each toy robot will inherently provide opportunities to reveal structural and mechanical relationships through experiencing the capabilities and limitations of basic toy bricks. The act of going through these experiences builds intuition. Building physical models exposes weaknesses and strengths in techniques, materials, and joinery. It teaches inherent lessons in physics and how to iterate on designs. It is also my intention to spark creativity, curiosity, and a love for creating with whomever comes across this book.
