COMPOSITION | Our Ural green clay is composed primarily of silica and water, as with most clays. However, due to its geographical surroundings it also contains zinc, magnesium, iron, copper, calcium, selenium and cobalt, as well as decomposed plant matter, namely algae and chlorophyll. The main contributing factor to the colour of green clay is the interaction and oxidation of iron in tandem with the decomposed plant matter. TEXTURE & FORM | Our Ural green clay is the perfect balance of earthy, velvety and somewhat dusty. However, it’s also very smooth and almost creamy to the touch. It feels and looks almost malleable on the surface, and is quite soft in geological terms. It can be broken by hand with little effort. The earthy and gentle feel of the clay is very pleasant and has a primal quality. It has a mild and natural odour of nature and pristine purity. ASMR | Crack... Louder crack. Loudest crack!
