Rhythm of Seasons: A Poetry Collection

The grain of sand squeezes through the narrow section of the hourglass. In its brief passage, one season dies, and another is born. Time carousels onward at an unflagging pace as each season cycles. Nature divides time into seasons; so too life divides into seasons, composed of unique characteristics. These seasons arrive, and they decorate life in vibrant colors or monochrome dullness, heralding celebration, grief, or something in between. These divisions of life ebb and flow in a dreamlike rhythm, lulling us into each note in the melody. Ultimately, however, the melody rests. The season ends, for good or ill. Then, what remains when a chapter closes? If that season was one of turmoil, perhaps rejoicing, but what if it was one of utter contentment and bliss, one from which the individual never wished to leave?
